All In Good Time

Good things are happening,
In the realm of the spirits,
It won’t be long now,
Before it reaches our world,
Where I can feel it.

A mind overworked,
By sadness and stress,
But small steps,
Lead to total deliverance,
From the grips,
Of the one most vile.

Tiny things,
Are noticeable now,
Nowhere near,
Where they should be,
But breakthrough enough,
To stop a lot of tears and fears.

A dream here,
A miracle there,
All are answers,
To one of many things,
Lifted up in prayer.

Upon close examination,
Of many occasions,
Lots of things,
Were looking dreary,
Until recently,
Some things started turning,
Toward a new and sunny morning.

Even prayer,
Can hit a snare,
And need an extra boost,
But add liberal donations,
Coupled with a fast,
And it’s a surefire way,
To set stubborn demons loose.

The clouds have opened,
And a drizzle has begun,
Someday soon,
They will let loose,
Like a loaded gun,
And all around,
Wherever I go,
Blessings will soak me,
From head to toe.

Wanted

It would be so splendid,
If Hell would freeze over,
So all the things that it’s said,
Won’t ever happen,
‘Til Hell freezes over,
Could come to fruition.

Like a world not predestined for failure,
One where there are more,
Saints than sinners,
And more to adore,
Than to abhor.

A way to make a living,
That doesn’t require,
Kissing someone’s ass,
And handing them half your life,
On a silver platter.

Where people don’t settle,
For whatever happens along first,
But wait for that which without,
They would die of thirst.

Oh for a world,
Where there are no regrets,
For people said what they felt,
Without stupidly waiting,
As biding your time,
Awaiting a perfect moment,
Ends with disappointment,
That realigns fates.

If only free,
Was really without cost,
But there’s always a price,
And if left unpaid,
That free thing is lost.

A place where time could stand still,
At the snap of a finger,
Or the stomp of a foot,
And then linger,
So we could just chill,
And enjoy the thrills.

If only instead of,
Employing unrelenting backstabbing and gossip,
A person looked at another,
As a soul not a foe,
And realized that’s the only way,
To make Heaven their home.

The chains are there,
Invisible as air,
Weighing me down like a boulder,
Too heavy for my shoulders.

**********

Now the chains are breaking,
Falling to the ground,
Causing a good sound shaking,
It’s like everyone should feel,
The Earth quaking,
But they can’t,
It’s only me,
As I’m being set free.

The chains rage as they rattle,
They know they’ve lost the battle,
They’d been having fun,
Thinking they’d won,
‘Til I found a new weapon,
And taught them a lesson.

The chains are fastened strong,
And have been there all along,
How they leave no marks,
When they’re starved off,
Is as yet an unsolved mystery.

The chains trick,
The chains deceive,
So good at what they do,
Until they’re seen through,
Now it’s game over,
I’ve learned a slick trick of my own,
That makes them break quick.

Peace must reside,
Where I abide,
Wrath will be felt,
Until the last,
Is in my past,
Good-bye to the bondage,
And hello to the freedom,
Bought for me,
By the bloodshed that happened,
On Calvary.

**********

The chains were there,
Depriving me of air,
But freedom has me light as a feather,
And tough as leather.

Unbearable Mysteries

********************
Dying to know,
The reason for this season,
But it’s not for us to know,
As this show is not our own,
But belongs to Him alone.
********************

Someday it’ll be over,
And our heads won’t have the chore,
Of deliberating it anymore.

Someday it’ll be in the past,
And we won’t be overwhelmed,
For we’ll be a part,
Of the spirit realm.

Someday we’ll be on its other side,
And these mixed-up messes,
Will have turned to blessings.

Someday it’ll be worked through,
And when we’ve made it to Glory,
We can concentrate on me and you.

Someday it’ll be just a memory,
The details will be long forgotten,
Washed away,
Like dirt from a shirt of cotton.

Killer Silence

At times it seems,
My head’s went all-out insane,
No one can tell,
The total hell,
One has been through,
As they judge,
And push their views,
From downright different shoes.

I felt it slide,
Across my side,
Creating a big divide,
It was a sword I swear,
For I felt a blade tear,
Though one was never there.

I thought a bumble bee,
Had done and got me,
So bad was the sting,
And something sure did pierce me through,
But when I went,
To pull it out,
No stinger,
Was anywhere about.

I felt the weight,
And the roller skate,
As I got bowled over,
I was plainly bruised and shaken,
And things were broken,
Even though,
You can’t see nothin’.

I’ve become deaf,
From its sound,
Though my ears,
Hear just fine,
Because it’s everywhere,
And it’s all the time,
Nothing shuts it off,
So they are blocked.

I’m crippled from the bullet,
Shot through my back,
And it has thrown me,
Far off track,
The deck seems stacked against me,
Though to those looking in,
Nothing unusual’s been goin’ down.

My eyes have converted,
They now see with my mind,
Which renders me blind,
I gotta say,
It’s very scary,
Seeing clearly,
But with eyes,
Blind as blueberries.

Help,
Is just around the corner,
Help,
Is just around the bend,
But time is of the essence,
And though to the Help,
It’s right on time,
The sufferer isn’t sure,
How to survive,
‘Til its deferred appearance.

Inconceivable Saint

Exhausted and worn out and spent,
An angel of the highest Lord was sent,
One more miracle,
Left to perform,
So his halo,
Could continue to glow.

He slowly walked along,
Dragging ass,
While his mind sung a song,
Paying no attention really,
By the way,
His name was Beautiful,
And so he was……….really.

Inside and out,
A deliverer sent from above,
To bring faith and hope and love,
Was what he was truly about.

God spelled backwards,
He was man’s best friend,
That’s why he was just perfect,
For his master’s latest project.

The Messiah’s expectations,
Were seven wondrous happenings per day,
Fixing frustrations,
And making generous donations,
When they were done,
He would make meticulous notations.

It happened that today,
This angel was looking to perform his last sensation,
In order to stay worthy,
Of his current station,
Under the Holy Master.

So with that his mind was occupied,
But even so,
Soon he smelled some greasy goodness,
And saw a sign,
Saying that to eat something fried,
One only had to walk on inside.

This may not seem,
Like a likely way,
To find something,
That needs a miracle,
But he did,
He found the someone,
He was intended to,
And they looked downright pitiful.

When he eyed the bar,
We can all relate,
To what that unlikely messenger saw,
Hunched over a plate.

Tattered and torn,
And the tears in the eyes,
Made the person appear forlorn,
So the dog ran up,
And got between the person,
And their cup.

Sitting on the chair,
Beside the one going through,
A living nightmare,
He woofed and wagged,
Until their shoulders,
No longer sagged.

Soon they started to talk,
Pouring out their woes,
And though this was an angel,
Who could not speak,
It healed their heart,
So they could forge a new start.

Before leaving,
He was offered for reward,
A mouthwatering meal,
And when he finally cleared out,
From God he got,
The day’s final seal.

Mission accomplished!
Thought he with satisfaction,
Now he’d corrected a deep sorrow,
And would be permitted,
To work miracles on Earth again tomorrow.

Oh No You Don’t!

“But if you did that,
You’d be missing out,
On all the magic,
And that,
My dear,
Would be so tragic”.

This is what the one,
Said to the other,
When he said of the world ,
He was tired,
And rather than living,
He’d like to choose now,
To meet his maker.

“You see the world,
Is full of enchanting things,
And surrounding us,
Are so many supernatural happenings”.

“They’re hiding in plain sight,
Obvious but not,
But when you learn what to look for,
You’ll be surprised,
There’s quite a lot”.

Here the one,
Stopped and eyed the other,
Watching him scan his surroundings,
On the sly,
For some of these happenings.

From her angle,
She could see,
The sport hunting man,
Positioned in the tree,
And the girl around the corner,
Good Book splayed open,
On bended knee.

The bad and the good,
Right out in the wide open,
But it’s all impossible to see,
When your eyes are blind,
To the mysteries.

When the other’s eyes,
Stopped their surveying,
The one carried on:
“It’s not mythical,
Actually,
It’s quite typical,
A part of every day life”,
And here she shrugged casually.

“Now there are two types,
And both are cause for hype,
One’s more than okay,
But the other’s not good,
And with it you should never play”.

Here the one stated,
What to us in the know,
Is already crystal clear,
But to the other,
And all else who are blind,
This will boggle the mind.

“Things you read,
Called fantasies,
Aren’t that at all,
They’re real mysteries,
That happen often,
At Angel’s and Demon’s calls”.

“Then they write them down,
Knowing they’ll get passed around,
And whether frowned upon,
Or wrote off as bullshit,
This makes sure that many,
Don’t believe any of it,
So then for the side that’s damned,
There’ll be ever so many”.

Here the other,
Interrupted the one,
“You mean”,
Said he,
In a voice like he found this funny,
“That the spirit world,
And the veil,
Aren’t just tales”?

“Exactly so”,
The one replied,
“It’s total truth,
That the worlds collide,
And here with us,
Invisible beings reside”.

“Just where did you,
Get your information,
Telling you there are creations,
Beyond our wildest imaginations”?

“Another world exists,
In which the ones called misfits,
Hold front and center stage,
I’m sorry if you don’t want to hear it,
But there is indeed,
A world of spirits”.

“And it can be found,
Most anywhere,
But it’s only seen,
Through faith that’s sound”.

Here the other interjected,
“How is this possible?
Am I to believe,
That even perfect eyesight,
In this case can deceive”?

“That though I see,
Nothing obstructing my view,
Even then,
Something else is here,
With me and you”?

“Oh yes!
That’s just what I mean”!
Answered the one,
To the other,
“But if your heart’s in the right place,
You can most times feel,
When they’re invading your space”.

The other seemed on the edge,
Of whether to believe,
What the one alleged,
The one could see this plainly,
Though the other tried,
To hide it vainly.

“Well”, told the one,
To the other,
“Now you’ve something,
To think about,
I hope you’ll change your mind,
Rather than take yourself out,
When right at your prime”.

**********

There’s always something,
Worthy of your sticking around,
But if you never look,
It won’t ever get found.

There’s more out there,
Than a naked eye can see,
When you think,
You’ve seen it all,
Shut your eyes,
And see with your soul,
The realm beyond,
Human understanding and control.

A Note From Above

Dated: The Beginning Of Time (AD)

To: My Children

Maybe not what you want,
But what you need,
Will you accept the gift this time?
I pray you heed.

Other opportunities,
May seem like something,
That you’d much rather,
But in the end,
If you go with another option,
You’ll wish it was by my hands,
Your story had been penned.

Something or someone,
Is always knocking,
Some should be kept,
The rest told to keep on walking.

It seemed meant to be,
Sewn up so fast,
Until it exploded,
With a powerful blast.

It turned destructive and deadly,
Provided by,
The wrong authority,
Instead of me.

Wake up!
Wake up!
I see every second,
The whole play-by-play,
That’s leading you astray,
As I hover close by,
Waiting on you,
To open your eyes.

It’s right under your nose,
Being handed to you,
On a silver platter,
But it’s not what you had in mind,
So to it you are blind,
Not what you wanted,
So by it you’re daunted.

It’s in your way,
Like a stumbling block,
But only because,
You’re hard-headed like a rock.

Time’s ticking away,
On your mental clock,
You see just one road,
And it’s making your shoulders,
Carry an unnecessary load.

Receive what’s right,
In front of your face,
Stop shoving it away,
Because in the end,
You’re the one who always pays.

And the price every time is hefty,
You sometimes feel guilty,
Or dumb or embarrassed,
I suppose such is the way,
When the area is so gray.

You wish it could be,
More black and white,
And cause much less,
Of an inner fight,
But the war is real,
So just remember,
My saved sinner,
No matter which you choose,
Only one’s the winner.

Each time you lose,
Is like a blessing,
Accidentally refused,
Seek wisdom before,
Making a choice,
If you elect to listen,
I’ve a very loud voice.

   Signed With Love,
                   The Lord God Almighty

True Story

Hi,
From the backseat of a car,
From a little girl,
Almost in tears,
Aged maybe ten years.

Do your eyes see,
What mine are seeing?
I don’t think I’m dreaming,
But I tried,
And it’s no use screaming,
No one will listen,
For this black sheep,
It’s no use uttering even a peep.

Up ahead,
Tangled in exhaust fumes,
I see dragons and monsters,
So fast they drift away,
Between cars and truck trailers.

This was to be,
Her first remembered encounter,
With things of the spirit realm,
And who,
Pray tell,
Was at the helm?

They sure weren’t wearing,
Any kind of disguise,
But even so were seen only,
By this girl’s eyes.

She tried telling mommy,
But was told to shut up,
To just stop making up,
Another crazy story,
So she zipped her lips,
And as mommy didn’t heed the warning,
The spirits got their opening.

**********

Hindsight now says there’s no doubt,
That the source of origination,
Was those peoples she saw earlier,
They were all dressed in black,
And at the same time as her,
Decided they needed,
To have a little snack.

Eyeing her party up and down,
While wearing smirks and frowns,
Details of what transpired,
May never be known,
But apparently they were able to acquire,
All that was required,
Before the girl left town.

**********

Not much time passed,
Maybe days,
Possibly a couple of weeks,
Since the spell was cast,
And apparently demons attached.

One night Grammie,
Decided to come with the girl,
And her sister and mommy,
It’s been too long,
To really remember,
What was the errand,
That to this day,
Could make ones hair,
Stand on end.

It must have gotten late,
For it was dark,
When a man tried,
To make them his mark.

On a two lane road,
In a little New England town,
They were on the way home,
When the semi ahead stopped dead.

Dead in the center,
Of a two lane road,
Then he got out,
And they didn’t really know,
What this was about.

Bad things could be felt,
As soon as he stepped down,
From the cab,
So with a frown,
Mommy prayed,
As he sauntered towards,
Their little car,
It made no sense,
At the time,
But by now the grown-up little girl knows,
He was on assignment,
To cause them harm,
Maybe even death,
To reap earthly rewards.

He was almost up to the window,
So mommy rolled it down,
Stuck out her head,
And asked him why was he stopped?
What was so bad up there ahead?

He said something,
It made no sense,
As it was of course nonsense,
Telling mommy her car lights,
Were blinding his sights.

Then he turned tail,
Got back in his truck,
Oh what luck!
Driving off to who knows where,
But at least he got,
The hell away from there.

Within days of that brush,
With certain torture and death,
Lord it’s been so long,
There’s no way to remember,
If it was before or after,
But Satan himself was there,
For she heard what recently was confirmed,
As his laughter.

Driving along,
A country road,
It was curvy,
And the grass hadn’t been mowed.

There were woods all around,
And at some point,
Mommy’s car acted up,
Out of nowhere,
It started making scary sounds.

Around the corner,
There was a big dirt area,
Where cars could pull over,
So mommy turned in,
And right away from the forest,
Came a deep manly voice,
Saying ‘HA-HA-HA’,
It was loud and clear,
And pissed off the little girl,
The moment it hit her ears.

She rolled down her window,
And at the top of her lungs,
Told that man to shut up,
In the rudest way she knew how.

Mommy may have known,
Who was out there,
Because she freaked right out,
Frantically yelling “Roll that window up!
We’ve got to get home”!

**********

It’s been a few decades,
Since these episodes,
But life being life,
It’s been a bumpy road.

There’s a war out there,
And it’s all supernatural,
The more that’s learned,
The more this and that,
From the past,
To her mind it all returns.

So lucky to be,
One of the few,
Whose eyes got opened,
Who knows everything is magical,
Though only some’s from Heaven,
So be aware,
The rest comes to you,
From the depths of Hell.
