The Famous Lamb’s Blood

It’s like a wave from the ocean,
But dry like air,
Not breezy like wind though,
It blankets your body,
From head to toe,
As it enters your soul.

You’re left with a feeling,
You’d like to keep on repeating,
Complete,
Though you’re vacant and starving,
Very soon you’ll need more.

Now you’re unsoiled,
Even if covered in mud,
Found by the blood,
Makes you supernaturally cleaner,
Than you’ve ever been.

Dark forces will try,
Telling you it’s not real,
For what they’ve never experienced,
To them can’t have much appeal.

Do not let them steal,
The way it’s made you feel,
Remember the best paths tend to be narrow,
And at times have never even seen a harrow.

This life’s a long hard road,
Lucky,
Now you won’t be going it alone,
You’ve gained a spirit guide,
Who’ll lead you safely,
To the better side.

Downfalls

We’re usually blind,
To our own failures,
So if you don’t mind,
I thought to be so kind,
As to give you some hints,
That may save you from a bind.

If your weakest link,
Isn’t very strong,
You’re gonna have problems,
The rest cannot fully make up,
For what is wrong.

Maybe it’s a part of your being,
It could be someone you’re seeing,
But if you don’t cut it loose,
There’s a guarantee,
It’ll be your noose.

It’s time to take the bull,
By the horns,
Instead of keeping the wool,
Pulled over your eyes.

Who’s that person,
Toppling you over?
They’re a rusty link,
That you should rethink,
Nothing but,
A fair-weather friend,
On which none can depend.

You have a choice,
To use your voice,
Silence isn’t always golden,
It will leave you beholden,
To your own mind,
Which should be a crime.

Leaning too much,
On that tasty crutch,
Has made you feeble and fat,
And a slave to that,
It’s as easy,
As the words ‘hell no’,
But it seems you choose,
To self-abuse.

Always talking a big talk,
But seemingly unable,
To follow it up,
With walking the walk,
Whatever it is,
Causing this mental block,
Is a plastic link,
In a chain made of rock.

All of that arrogance,
You’re so full of self importance,
In the end your conceit,
Will equal defeat,
Your chain to you,
Might seem sturdy,
Too bad though,
That this trait makes it,
A tad less hardy.

I Sit Here Contemplating……….

What if people looked to their holy bible,
For their sole means of survival,
Instead of giving up,
When on a stroke of bad luck?

What if grass grew pink,
And with lots of kinks,
Would the animals still want it,
For their main cuisine,
If it were not straight and green?

What if there was no sun,
And there had been none,
Ever since the world had begun,
Would there still be such a thing,
As the dark being frightening?

What if people could fly like birds,
But it was normal not absurd,
Would airplanes still have been invented,
Or the idea not have even been presented?

What if the weather were more even,
And there was no such thing as seasons,
If that were so,
Would Earth be mild, hot, or cold?

What if people were not progressive,
And didn’t desire things impressive,
Would we regress back in time,
And if so,
What exactly would be on the line?

What if the pants of a liar,
Truly did catch on fire,
Would the world turn into a great big blazing pit,
Because it would catch everything around it?

What if everyone got along,
And stood united and strong,
Would the world be one big affair,
Or would people still form pairs?

What if the world were colorblind,
And colors had never been defined,
Would it become less challenging to choose,
Things like clothing and shoes,
And could said articles,
Still reflect one’s personality and mood?

What if more people would fight,
For what they know is right,
Instead of following easy street,
Though they know it ends in defeat?

What if coming home,
Were a better option than to roam,
If people were comfortable,
Sticking to their roots,
Would this not prevent,
Quite a bit of disputes?

What if blue did not mean sad,
And red did not mean mad,
Could anything else describe,
These emotions to which our brains subscribe?

What if money,
Wasn’t everyone’s honey,
If it had never been invented,
Would the world be less demented and tormented?

Visions; A Sneak Peak At Life’s Coming Chapters

********************

Things can be learned,

In your sleep,

When the day adjourns,

Dream with one eye open,

For answers on fixing what’s broken.

********************

I’ll never forget,

What that black snake looked like,

He was kind of large,

With a baby- alligator-size bite,

And there to give me quite a fright.

I spied him behind a tree,

And stood staring,

As he was kind of pretty,

With a wide band of reddish orange,

That looked like a belt,

That’s when I noticed his big snout,

Next thing I knew,

He had sidled up beside me,

And when I looked down,

I was not in the slightest alarmed,

I knew he would not manage any harm.

When he opened that substantial mouth,

To try and take me down,

I stuffed my boot in,

Before he could commit the sin,

And that’s how I pinned him down,

With the bottom of his own evil grin.

What did this all mean?

I’ve an idea,

Though I’m not gonna share,

But we shall wait and see,

As this one happened,

Just recently.

********************

Not long ago,

Needing just a few more winks,

I hit snooze and was soon back asleep.

Before you could say ‘Fucking A’,

Conversation struck,

Between myself and someone not a stranger,

But not yet in my friendship manger.

It was totally bizarre,

We leaned against a little table,

Talking of this and that,

When an enchanting creature,

Happened to come into view.

As this charmer passed by,

My acquaintance’s voice turned sly,

And I was asked something that I reckon,

It’d be better not to mention.

Let’s just say his answer,

Was just what I needed to hear,

As I was beginning to fear,

I had misinterpreted the message,

That had seemed so clear.

Now I know,

It’s worth staying the course,

Though it was coming from a source,

I was unsure if I should endorse.

********************

My perfect angel,

My fat furry child,

Up until you breathed your last,

You were crazy and wild.

Of course I hoped you’d haunt me,

And then you came one night,

It was not in ghost form,

And you blew by even faster than the storm,

But I guess it was alright,

Since I heard you yourself say,

You’re in Heaven’s stables,

And we shall meet again one day.

********************

Oh my lord people,

I know this shit sounds mad,

And may make no sense to you,

But it is my guiding light,

They may not be sugar plums,

But those insane visions,

Give an honest glimpse of what’s to come.

Color Scheme

Purple like a bruise,
Just starting to heal,
Red like a wound,
Just starting to seal,
Pink like the scar,
Left from the wound,
White like the skin,
Where now from bruises it’s clear.

Black like the fear,
When demons come near,
Yellow like the cheer,
When angels appear,
Silver like the bullets,
To take out the demons,
Gold like the crowns,
That from the angel’s heads are gleaming.

Blue like the fields,
Found around Kentucky,
Green like the clover,
That is rare but lucky,
Orange like the flames,
That can obliterate the fields,
Brown like the death,
When winter takes over the clover.

Intuition

Listen to me,

Let me guide you,

When truths try to hide from you,

Let my voice,

Help you make a choice.

I’m your gut feeling,

A part of you,

That you may not believe in,

But if you’d maybe stop to listen,

I could become the one,

On which you most depend.

I’m that impression in your mind,

That’s more like just an inkling,

Though not coming off too forceful,

My message is still powerful,

It can save you from countless circumstances,

And prevent you from taking needless chances.

When I send shivers down your spine,

It’s not just some nobody,

Feeding you a line,

Don’t discount it,

But take the warning,

To save yourself from mourning.

Proceed with caution,

When I send a premonition,

Consider seriously,

Before proceeding,

When you’re met,

With that foreboding feeling.

If you feel me in your bones,

There’s a reason for their moans and groans,

It’s paramount you pay attention,

Else your soul stop singing,

And funeral bells begin ringing.

I know I’ve raised your suspicions,

And given you a hunch,

In a bunch of situations,

When your mind seemed out to lunch,

Now here,

Accept a final warning,

Take heed,

So your eyes open come morning.

What In The HELL?

One day,

Out of the blue,

Two tiny marks were noticed,

Upon a thumb,

“Where the fuck,

Did these come from”!?

Was the thought,

Until the mind,

Was practically numb.

Little brownish red dots,

That looked a lot like tiny birthmarks,

Why were they,

Never noticed before?

They couldn’t be recent

But they weren’t remembered,

As being there,

Just a year or two before.

Into the head came a notion,

Was this proof of past lives?

Once someone had said,

The fear of certain fanged brutes,

Was likely due to being bitten,

While alive,

In another lifetime,

And this is why,

The feeling of panic,

While in their presence,

Never subsided,

No matter how much,

Time had elapsed.

In theory,

Fang marks,

Are only made,

By things infected by dark,

But are they really polluted?

Because after all,

They had ancestors once,

On Noah’s Ark.

There was strong suspicion that they might,

Be from a snake bite,

There was,

After all,

The infliction of a phobia,

But was that all paranoia?

Or was that fear founded by an incident,

And therefore legitimate?

Though there are tons of creatures,

Sporting fangs,

Not all result,

In the night terrors,

For instance,

It’s known a house cat,

Would not do that,

But who’s to say,

They weren’t wandering in the jungle,

And met head on,

By a lion?

But oh yes,

That jungle beast’s mouth,

Would be too big to leave these marks,

That little kitty though,

Righto! – that one’s a maybe……………

At one point in the past,

Could there have been a Mer,

Who played in ponds,

And swam in seas?

So many creepy critters,

Occupy these places,

And many are with,

Tiny fanged faces,

Yes this one is actually,

A real possibility……………

Very well,

I’ll admit there is no way here,

To be totally and absolutely sure,

Just the same,

These marks are pointing favorably,

Toward this being right,

It’s so strange they seemed to surface,

Pretty much overnight,

Even so I think it’s clear,

These marks were put,

On a former version of a self,

By the object of their deepest fear.
